Odessa and Rescuers

I meet remarkable folks doing rescue. Here is Odessa, another beautiful dog we drove to safety on Saturday. Then on Sunday, I did another drive with a bunch of kittens and a sweet border collie. (Sorry no pix of him yet). But I was struck by the dedication of one of the drivers and his wife, a woman who only had one leg. These are the heros in my daily life. The spirit of the fabled drivers of ordnance on the Red Ball Express in WWII lives on in Rescue.
