Hobbits or Missing Links

There is a controversy about bones again. First there was Lucy the Australopithecus discovered by a Case Western Reserve University professor. Now there is the hobbit. Not Tolkien's hobbit but a group of bones named Hobbit because of their size. Here is a BBC article I just googled on them. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/3948165.stm The interesting thing is that habits die hard among scientists. A classification is a classification is a classification until years later a new concept becomes thoroughly proved. Not a bad thing really because I had somehow missed the original story in 2004 and am just now discovering the hobbit bone dispute for the first time. My only concern is the use of words I have familiar with in one context "hobbits" from Tolkien's works being used in totally different contexts. But oh, well....
